Farnaz Peykanpour

My architectural journey began in the historical context of Art University Of Isfahan, where I gradually developed a deeper understanding of architectural principles and its impact on society and the quality of life. This fascination in the impact of architecture on society, especially for low-income communities, led me to pursue a direct admission to the Master’s program without any entrance exams, at the same university due to my first ranking among 68 students and GPA 3.96/4. During my Master’s studies, I developed a keen interest in the intersection of architecture and societal needs, focusing on designing for low-income communities.
After graduating, my spouse and I founded our own architectural office named “Pardaz” and our focus on details and materials in our designs led us to participate in some workshops on hand-made material fabrication, Especially making hand-made clay tiles for our architectural projects.
The technology and my interest in communication with people from different cultures led me to expand my architectural abilities and interests beyond IRL architectural projects. I have been involved in web3-based and virtual architectural projects in different metaverses. Following that I have been collaborating with some prominent metaverse companies like Art Unchained (as the head of architects), Sandbox (as a confirmed architect selected by them), and Crypto Cities team (as a voxel-artist) on building virtual environments.
